Why, it's as if the Air Force wants to not provide close support for our ground troops at all. Perhaps, we should tell them capture and hold their own damn airfields.

Makes one wonder what the priority is for the USAF. Scrap the A10 and remove the largest punch the AC130 has.

If they can carry enough Tomahawks and Hellfires, it might be a good tradeoff. On a battlefield with peer-level armies and air forces, AC-130s won't be able to hang around or survive long. . . .
