I think this was the Sacramento Sheriff. Why should the store help the Sheriff in this planned sting? If they arrest the individuals the Sacramento D.A. is not going to prosecute them. The DA is going to let them go with no penalties. This is why California has gone to hell. Most stores in San Francisco, Oakland and other cities have shut down because the State has made it profitable for the individuals to steal when there is no penalty.
