I don't find it ironic at all. For most on the right, their accusations are actually confessions. What is disconcerting is to see how many in this country are driven entirely by fear, anger, guilt, and an unrealized sense of self-loathing.

If it's between consenting adults, it's between consenting adults regardless of party affiliation. The second it's non-consensual (all sex where one of the parties is not the age of consent is non-consensual), The full force of the law should be brought bear, REGARDLESS OF PARTY AFFILIATION. And there should be no statute of limitations. If they ever discuss it at all, on average, it takes the victims of pedophilia 21 years to discuss what was done to them.
