Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with senators today as part of a last-ditch push to convince Congress to approve more U.S. weapons and aid for his country in order to push back against Russia's invasion.
Zelenskyy spoke at an all-senators briefing on Capitol Hill as part of of a full day of meetings pressing his case for aid that will end with a White House press conference alongside President Biden.
The visit comes at a critical moment. Biden has asked Congress for more than $60 billion in aid for Ukraine but has so far been rebuffed.

His wife, Olena Zelenska, has been even more explicit. In an interview with the BBC, Zelenska called any drop in aid as a "mortal danger."
"We cannot get tired of the situation because otherwise we will die. And if the world gets tired, they will simply let us die," she said."...

If only President Biden could agree with securing our borders. Letting millions of potential terrorists into our Country isn’t going to help his reelection much. Maybe he gave up on it and just wants to retire with all the money he received from the Ukraine, Russia, and China. What a hoot!!! Remember when they were saying Trump was in bed with them.
