The United Nations approves a cease-fire resolution despite U.S. opposition

That won't get Israel to stop the war. The UN is toothless, and Israel has a mandate from the people to eradicate Hamas, and that won't be stopped by an organization that refuses to call out Hamas for what caused the war in the first place.

Gee, the UN oh horrors. Run and Hide! Name the last time the UN stopped a War or Ethnic cleansing? 1976 Egypt asked for a Multi-National Force, not the UN to enforce the 1973 Treaty between Egypt and Israel. Current head of UN Civil rights is IRAN!, Yep that is reassuring.
