He can be offended. Illegals, meaning those whose nationality is not a US citizen, have no right to be here. Democrats are destroying the blood of our country by allowing non-citizens to have more privileges than citizens do, and giving taxpayer money to those illegal immigrants. They are destroying the fabric of America with their willful circumventing of American law.
