The VA’s Role in Illegal Immigrant Health Care Has Veterans Groups and Legislators Up in Arms

They can't take care of ALL the veterans so to put this on top of the mess they already have is wrong

Buried in the article: "VA spokesperson Terrence Hayes said the VA doesn’t provide any health care services to individuals whom ICE detains, with all health care expenses paid for and provided by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Health Service Corps." They're providing administrative claims support only, and - it's problematic I agree - but also being blown way out of proportion. $63 million v. $150 billion... represents 0.042% of their 2023 workload. Not 4%, but 4 hundredths of one percent!
