Challenge Coins are Quite "New" in the Navy, Now Sharing? Or Covers? Our "Covers" (Ballcaps) could be Quite Unique, I'm a Green Hat (Combat Systems Training Team) for Electronic and Information Warfare I Have No Idea where My "Hat" is. Maybe I Gave it Away! The Back of Your Hat Could Carry Your Position, Title. In My Case it would have a Designator in the Back for OT01 or OE01 for Operations, Electronic/Information Warfare Division.

We have the best and most challenge coins in the Marine Corps. Love them all.

We didn't have challenge coins in 1971. I didn't even know what 1 was til my brother joined the Marines and told me of them. 16 years younger than me and he joined at age 29. My first job in 1969 was making 16 inch shells for the New Jersey. Nixon mothballed it and we all got laid off.
