Let us not forget how the axis of the earth tilts also! https://climate.nasa.gov/news/2948/milankovitch-orbital-cycles-and-their-role-in-earths-climate/
Milankovitch (Orbital) Cycles and Their Role in Earth's Climate – Climate Change: Vital Signs of...
Small cyclical variations in the shape of Earth's orbit, its wobble and the angle its axis is tilted play key roles in influencing Earth's climate over timespans of tens of thousands to hundreds of thousands of years.

Great post Chuck. The Climate Change Religious People neglect all facts that don't support their Carbon theories. Besides the movements of the earth and the sun they never speak about volcanic activity, especially volcanic activity under the sea.

Sounds familiar, what actually is science is ignored by those with their own stories to explain things which just don't line up with actual proof and research. Another example of an actual man of science Who actually did research vs those that made assumptions they plain could NOT prove even though they called it science because it wasn't. Of course like today ,many back then couldn't admit they were wrong and would attack the person actually dealing with factual information and actual science. As much as our civilization advanced it seem ignorance still has a strong grip and an inability to actually learn anything new or adjust despite being wrong. As in His day even today it seems many NOT in the know still try to silence anyone not within their narrow view of science or anything else for that matter. l
I may add in High school that was covered but in college I actually did take a course in Astronomy to fill a science elective, which include not only classroom but both day and night trips to an observatory on campus to look at the stars, planets and even the sun and sunspots. etc. The course was pretty intensive but I did learn a lot. I'm certainly not a scientist but a least could listen, observe and learn.
