Good warning. I've worked with the Human Trafficking Specialist here in Northern VA and he makes the rounds of the schools and speaks at PTSA meetings about this.

Thank YOU , sister Ann, for pointing this out, It is because of the open borders that this problem, exist, because of a sold out White House. I heard on Newsmax some talk of OBIDEN talking with the CHINESE COMMUNISTS in regard to selling off some of US oil/gas company's to them, I don't doubt, the validity of this conversation., but WE know there is always more to it than first anticipated! Have You heard that OBIDEN is planning a visit to the TEXAS border for the first time , since HE took office, in Brownsville Texas, which is not the area that is most effected by the cartels.. Speaking of the cartels from MEXICO, they are now operating inside TEXAS as far as DALLAS TEXAS. THey have been seen making drug drops in the open daylight, so kidnaping sexual assaults, are expected!
But on a good side there is a planned daylight appearance of Pres. TRUMP ALSO, today in EAGLE PASS TEXAS, to show the really BAD side of this OPEN BORDER DISASTER! We can only hope that truth will prevail for the American people, because WE have suffered enough!

I-95! I didn't realize that you're in the UP! I'm shivering at the thought of how cold it gets there.

Amn Roger Omberg - Using the Marines as a firing squad is too fast. Use the Marines to beat them to death so they could make an example of them.

I wasn't aware that the CORP would allow that, we learn new things each day.
I think You are referring to a good BLANKET PARTY? That was the reference to a screw up in basic training, the DI,S usually looked the other way....What ever works. If my daughter was involved, I would become the accused!!

Amn Roger Omberg - I remember the blanket parties in boot camp. I remember one night we were giving a blanket party to a recruit and the DI was looking through the blinds into the squadbay from the duty hut. I saw him and pointed it out to the others. Almost everyone looked towards the duty hut and suddenly the blinds closed! We thought we were all going to be in deep $hit. Not a word was ever said about it to the platoon.

I hear You, . Its covered. I guess its because Military life is very ruff, somethings are dismissed, THANK GOD! IT was a blessing for me to do scope duty for some higher ranked personnel, during CHRISTMAS holidays , so they could be with their family's, about 32 straight hours, our CSMGT came in to visit at 0700 hrs, just ck on me, & all was good, & quiet. Afterwards, I had a lot of friends. LOL!, but they knew I would do it again if need be. SEMPER FI!

Seems to me that the foundation of family function and accountability is at the core of this problem. Morality was once strong. Now it seems that immorality is almost a competition sport among those who seek attention. Parenting is not a secondary responsibility. Life expense creep introduced the idea that two working adult incomes could produce a suitable path to a few luxuries that were previously out of reach to most households. Almost undetectable, initially, were the issues involving less parental attention to kids being influenced by the kind of parenting that we "bought". Day care, schools shifting from the "A's" and "B's" to the "Satisfactory" and "Needs Improvement" report cards.
Little, almost imperceptible changes that slipped into family functionality seems to be at issue here.
Personally, I prefer the way we were.

Thanks, Amn. Other than Germany, my guess is that you had duty stations here, like Offit?

I wish. MY duty station was in a far removed place by the name of BURNS OREGON, at the very top of the mountain, with est. 120 other troops. Ther were about 30 or so civilian employees, that were assigned in OUR secure area. WE were at the time the most higher powered Radar installation in the Northwest. That was before tv stations had radar, & we would get the national weather folks to need updates on weather, etc. Our main mission of course was flight ID, Height, direction etc. WE would have the old SAC run radar black outs on us all the time, General LEMAY was in charge of that entire program, & of course, HIS orders were the BUFFS at that time had to carry Atomic weapons, but WE had crack radar Maintenance people, & they never could get even 80 % on us. Afterwards, My Groupe was sent to Germany, & there we were involved in (during the CUBAN crisis) A/C ID going in & out of the IRON CURTAIN, as we worked with the German version of the FFA.
