She had been dedicated to sharing beautiful photos and uplifting information about the culture, people, and land. Never a word of complaint about the difficulties of life, and there were plenty. No rancor, nor bitterness, no hate, ever - only a "we simply want to live in peace" attiude..The community kept the kids busy, especially the teens, who were actively involved in a lot of cultural activities at the community center - Debkha, embroidery, cooking, playing sport - even surfing when they were still not prevented from doing more than wading in the water near shore.
