We need to do a better job of screening people for sensitive positions. While some may have to tools to do the job they aren't emotionally stable enough for positions of responsibility.
--- How do you screen when someone has never done something like this ever? He is a retired Army LTC...so he was likely a commander at some point whether company or BN. He KNOWS it was wrong. He sat through multiple security awareness trainings. OPSEC training. And for him to get access at STRATCOM he was read on - so he KNEW it was wrong. He didn't care.
People mishandle classified more often than I think some of you realize...in and out of the military at all levels.
