Larry Kudlow: Are you better off than you were 4 years ago?

In a word (ok, two words) HELL NO. The only reason my standard of living hasn't suffered like many people is because I have no mortgage, car payment or debt. My saving accounts have taken a hit to the tune of a few hundred bucks a month to maintain my standard of living. Which, yeah, we could scale back some but even then, our monthly food bill is up at least 35 - 40% over when Trump was in office. Every time we go to the store we see it. Then you have the idiots in the State of Tennessee House wanting to get a $20.00/hour minimum wage thinking it will solve the problem of poverty. Really idiot? What the hell school of economics did you attend that you believe that?
Several of my fellow teachers are straining to make it with some even taking on second jobs and, looking to change careers because they aren't making ends meet.

If you are doing better than you were four years ago, kudo's to you but is suspect many are trying to blow smoke up our a$$ claiming they are better off.

No. The equity value of my stock portfolio halved within days of Biden entering the Oval Office. My quarterly dividends halved. Thus, I've lived on credit card debt periodically paid off from my dwindling investments. That's just my personal story. Let's talk about our shared story. Under the Biden Administration we've seen bad actors crawling out of the shadows and starting the Russo-Ukraine War and the War in the Gaza. We've seen the President Trump's David Accords (implemented in the Middle East were none before had been able to generate any interest in peace with Israel). We've seen our once secure borders open to allow throngs (millions) cross illegally (though we dare not say illegal for fear of being cancelled). I pray daily for an end (choking back all temptation to pray for assassinations).
