I can see why some of these aren't popular anymore, but in my case I still occasionally have chipped beef on toast. I've always liked the real dried beef version over the ground beef style that became the standard in chow halls......plenty of hot sauce with either of course.

Love SOS, but only seem to eat it when it's at the breakfast buffet (hardly ever at home).

We hardly ever see it out at breakfast buffets. Probably not a Florida style food.

I like SOS, periodically. We had it only a very few times growing up - on request from Dad.

My father a retiered Chief Navy cook, and veteran of WWII, we always had SOS when he decided to make it in the mornings. I like it today, and my wife makes it when I request it. In the army, when SOS was the meal, most talk was they didn't like SOS, but for me, it was like being home.

I haven’t had it since childhood,my dear old Dad was a Army Mess Sergeant during WWII,maybe that’s the reason my older brother joined the USAF as soon as he could,always was kinda high brow now that I think of it! Welcome Home Brothers.
