VA plans to take steps to consider Veterans who served in Uzbekistan as Persian Gulf Veterans, therefore making undiagnosed illness and medically unexplained chronic multi-symptom illness (also known as Gulf War Illness) presumptive conditions for Veterans who served at K2. This will lower the burden of proof required for Veterans who served at K2 to receive presumptive benefits for these conditions. Read more at the link.
