Another employee for the U.S. Postal Service is facing federal charges in the latest instance where mail-in ballots were discovered dumped in the trash in Kentucky.

The local lTV station ran an episode on the news about 2 weeks ago about mail in ballots in Kentucky and across the river in Indiana not making it to their intended people, so several local county clerks filed for an investigation with the USPS. I wonder if this was part of the reason why.

Voting early is fine, but I chose to vote in person. I was a voting officer when I was active duty but after hearing about sacks of ballots that didn't make it on time to be part of the count, I said I would vote in person given the option.

We took our ballots directly to the post office. The status sign-up seems to work. A couple of days ago I received an email advising my signature was verified and my ballot accepted. I like the feature. Lt Col Charlie Brown
