It seems to Me what nature provided and took care of has been messed up and the Dog's themselves are paying the price with their overall health and well being. I'm more concerned with Who the Dog is, their personality, well being and prolonged health and life. Take care of the Dog and enjoy each other for Who You both are rather than man made changes that the Dog itself has to pay for with their own well being.

not a big dog lover after being in the utility business, but the mutt has to be the best. We had a mutt after I left the farm, my sister played with it everyday. My aunt looked her when my mother was working. One day my uncle brought her to the farm, she got out and played with him for a while. When they were ready to leave, he tried to pick her up and put her in the car. The dog started growling and just about bite him. Long live the mutt.

Interesting.
I'll stick with Cattle Dogs and mixed breeds. We love our German Sherpard/Pitbull mix. Such a loving and loyal dog! And a great comedienne too.
