Important research. We have had dementia in our family for a couple generations. One member of our family is 59 and in his 5th year of FTD

It's an insidious disease. Progress is being made in the search for effective treatments for dementia, particularly Alzheimer's disease, with several promising developments in drug therapies and ongoing research.

I've been following some retired m.d.s on YouTube who are doing metabolic research and changing over to being functional/interactive/whole health/researchers (in private practice) who share in their videos what they wish they could have done to treat patients when they were part of the insurance run health care system. It's an education, to say the least.
There is a commonality of research data that demonstrates toxic pollutants - all found in the environment and in food - do more to age the brain and body than anything else other than intentional damage to the health.
Where is the wisdom in not dealing with all that at the foundation in current family practice? I find none, for the most part even though organizations of both physicians and patients advocate for a functional holistic system of health care.
I will leave it at that however there is much more that needs to be said in discussion, nationwide.
