Sugar in Cuba and then look at Venezuela also with it's large supply of oil neglecting the refineries and now having to export their oil to have it refined elsewhere then sell it for a higher price. Bit by bit killing their great oil industry. Both countries run by Communist Dictators and their own citizens are suffering because of it.

Lt Col Charlie Brown From "Cruising Speed: A Documentary" published in 1971 by Bill Buckley:
"Curiously, the failures of Communism are more often treated as a joke than as a tragedy. (As in the current jollity: What would happen if the Communists occupied the Sahara? Answer: Nothing—for 50 years. Then there would be a shortage of sand.)"

I can't help but laugh at the morons controlling Cuba, and feeling next to nothing for the citizens who support them. Fools all!

Do the people alive today really have a choice who they support? If I were Cuban, it would be my grand parents and great grand parents that got me into that mess regardless who I would support today.

MAJ Byron Oyler They've had chances to turn the tide, but they don't have the military. Once Fidel croaked and Raul stepped down, there was a chance but the military officers in charge know hey and the government would face a very angry populace and they'd be Ceauscescu'd into graves.
