President Donald Trump’s third week back in office was full of major developments on both the domestic front and abroad, with the end of a 60-year federal agency, deals brokered with key U.S. trading partners, and plans to incarcerate certain illegal immigrants overseas.
Beginning on Feb. 3 and ending with his attendance at Super Bowl LIX on Sunday, Trump’s third week also included tariffs on China with key exceptions, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) moving at breakneck speed in its stated goal of rooting out government waste, controversial plans for the Gaza Strip, rules baring transgender athletes from women’s sports, and other notable developments.

A1C Medrick "Rick" DeVaney - I'm familiar with it... The Democrat leaders are currently getting an up close and personal experience with it. Regardless of whether they know this or not. Another quote "Be careful of the bed you make, because someday you may need to lay in it." Biden saw fit to hire 10s of thousand or IRS agents, and already Trump is looking to have them deputized to assist with illegal immigration raids. So, thank you Biden for the unintended ICE support. Like him or not, he IS getting shit done at a faster pace than I've seen in my lifetime.
I'd caution you to review what estimates these groups have made in the past and note their track record. Some economists claimed Trump would lead us into a recession with his tax cuts the first time around and that did not happen. Tariffs are a leverage mechanism and so far the threat of them has already produced results. The question is, who suffers the most on each side. I would argue Trump is looking exactly at that and knows, China can't afford to play chicken here. I'll also say that I am willing to take a hit in higher prices if it means more American products will be bought as a result and that China has to renegotiate with the US. Already I look for where products are made, and even though I will buy Chinese products, if no others are available, I prioritize my purchasing to look for US made, followed by other nations, followed by China. If I have to pay more, so be it.

I have one concern currently in Trump's blitz to pause funding across the board. After talking to a friend of mine who is a Deputy Commander in the Medical community, clinical research for active patients in serious to critical conditions has been affected, and I'd like to know someone in the Trump admin is looking at issues like these and making exceptions where necessary.

You can cut and paste all the link you want with various levels of facts, exaggerations, out of context statements, and complete falsehoods and I could do the same for Harris and Biden. I won't because you will ignore it. I have actually read all these and I've address probably most, if not all accordingly. I have engaged you on several signle issues, to which you again ignore the facts or perspectives. You simply hate Trump and that's all that matters to you. This isn't something to be proud of or a good foundational perspective to take when you're commenting on his actions as Presdient.
A good example; on Tariffs in another post you've been cheerleading those who claim what Trump is doing is illegal. It's not, and if you took the time to do the research vs finding reason why not to like Trump or why others think we should not like Trump, you'd know this.
