Immigrants and children of immigrants make up at least 15% of the current U.S. Congress, according to a Pew Research Center analysis. This share has not changed from the last Congress, making it the first time in the past four Congresses that there has not been an increase in the share or number of immigrants and children of immigrants.

I think depending on one's line of work that's already the case. My lineage goes back to right after the Mayflower showed up, arguably also the failed initial colonization of Delaware, and at this point anyone's family having been on this continent for that length of time seems to be an exception now vs a norm (Indian tribes notwithstanding).
