Being USAF I Never Saw A Navy Ship, Even In The Distance,
Let Alone Up Close. But When I Watched This Video, And Saw The Men On The Ship,
I Realized The Navy Could Place 2 Countries Below The Main Deck And Nobody Would Ever Find Them.

Don't Ya Love Our Southern Boarder Walls? ~~ Being Taken Apart On Both Sides & Sold For Scrap Metal ~~ "From Iron Ore Back To Rust" But Now They Have Jobs And The List Of Unemployed Is Reduced Too... My God How I Love Our New Administration, But Then Again I've Always Been A Big Fan Of Bleeding Hemorrhoids Too.
~~ When I Was In The USAF, And We'd Always Heard "Guam Is A Great Duty Station"
And A Beautiful Place As Well.~~ USAF 06/29/61 - 06/10/65... Received My DD214 Just 19 Days Before LEGALLY Allowed To Buy A Beer, A 19 Day Early Out. Last Duty Station Was Osan AFB South Korea - When Korea Was Still An Adventure, Before Modernization ~ And I Loved Every Minute Being There ~ Dirt Roads And All ~ And Our FOOD? ~ 4 Stars~

A1C Medrick "Rick" DeVaney - I was on DMZ Korea 72 and 73, in those days like you say, dirt roads and not modernized. It was great there, walking around the small towns, the people were very nice, and food was great.
Some of my best times in the Army were there, I tried to extend for another year, but my 1st Sargent refused the request, and told me that the Army wants all their paratroopers in one place, Ft Bragg NC.
Picture is from my guard post at the middle of Freedom Bridge, a little 4x4 shack hanging off the side, one way in one way out.
Guard duty was at 1800 to 0600hrs, only one guard during the nights at the middle of the bridge. Special orders were easy, challenge everyone, shoot to kill. Lol

It's Also "Lonely At The Bottom".~~ LOL ~~
I Even Offered To Reenlist If I Could Get An Extension ~~
They Said "If You Reenlist We'll Give You An Extension"
READY? ~~ I Reenlisted And Received Orders For Omaha.
I Went To Our 1st Shirt, A Survivor Of Bataan Death March And
The Korean War ~ One Tough SOB,. He Picked-Up The Phone And
Chewed Out The Recruiters A-Butt, And I Was Discharged On Schedule.
He Told Us One Day "To Have Me Busted, It Would Literally Take An Act of Congress
Because Of My Military Service Records."... That's When We Found Out About Them.,
