This new Canadian Prime Minister Carney is a Trudeau 2.0.
Carney wrote in his book to ban the sale of Gasoline/diesel-powered vehicles in 2036. Big Brother of 1984 is in Canada. The bank robbers here in Alberta often have M-4/M-16 rifles so, just like the USA, only the criminals have firearms.
Sounds like Chicago and other DNC/Sanctuary Cities that have 'gun free zones' that often have police outgunned by criminals with automatic weapons.
