Thank You very much Brother Jeff!! These boats are one of the reasons I volunteered for River Boats. I used to see them when I was aboard ship operating around Phu Quoc Island, which was where their homebase was. I'd see them ripping around and thought they looked cool. Then when we got closer to the mainland, around Vung Tau, I used to see the PBR's, and thought they were hella cool. So, I volunteered for PCF's (Patrol Craft Fast), PBR's (Patrol Boat River) and PGM's (Patrol Gunboat Medium), all really fast Boats. That's not quite what I ended up on, which was an ATC (Armored Troop Carrier), or Tango Boat. All the same though, I wouldn't have had it any other way.
