Being born on 10 November and still having a "Buzz Cut" also may reveal I'm a Marine Corps Veteran and not a day goes by that I don't think about my years as a Marine.

Sorry Tom, but how am I a Soldier to know you're a Marine? I had to mention it for you, so you didn't mention it to me 50x's in the first 10 seconds of our conversation. Are you really a Doc attached to the USMC?

I was a MOS 2536 (High Speed Radio Operator) but was trained by both the Army (Ft Devens MA) & Navy (Naval Training Center, Charleston SC)... But a Corpsman (Doc) & I started a Physical Fitness Program at Camp Geiger NC that was adopted by the Force Troops FMF Atlantic for a lot of years including during the Vietnam Era from what I understand.
