For sure and an Exchange program i went on with the Chinese Air Force, Republic of China Taiwan there were many museums that contained old items from China's History. The Communist after taking over the mainland were destroying much of the artifacts from the past and the Nationalist Chinese that fled the mainland saved as much as they could to help preserve that History. I saw these thousands and thousands of valuable historic items that had been saved from this destruction from the unlawful takeover from the Communist. of the Nationalist Chinese Government and the entire mainland China. These were m any of the places that Officers from the Chinese Air Force had taken us on tours around Taiwan, ROC.

Removing history of the past seems to be a common thread of authoritarian regimes.

Ah, the vaunted, evil days of Mao. The same Mao who killed or starved to death millions of his Chinese countrymen. This is the political US progressives want us to adopt. Nope, just nope.

It's not just the Chineese. Cemeteries that were built over without removing bodies is a hot topic in this area.
