From My Personal Experiences Dealing With The VA In The Past 30 Years Are:
They're Experts In Giving Referrals, But Less Than Beginners In Getting Things Done.
I've Actually Contacted Several Various Offices, Only To Be Given Another Referral And Have The One I Was Referred To, Refer Me Back To The Previous Office. ~ So In One Instance I'd Have To Say "They DO Accomplish Something"~ Make Us Give Up And Toss In The Towel. - Curious? Look Into My Medical Records At The VA In North Las Vegas, NV, It's All In There. -- As One Of The Doctors Stated Upon Doing So; "I Can't Believe What They've Done To You Out Here" - I Now Require Wheel Chair Vans To Travel To And From Medical Appointments And Have Been Refused A Portable Oxygen Machine, Which Prevents My Traveling Anywhere Else For Any Prolonged Period Of Time. ~~ My Brother Mike, Also A Vet Passed Away In Ohio ~~ And My 39 Year Old Grandson Had A Heart Attack And Died In Michigan ~ While I Was Unable To Even Attend Their Funerals ~~THANKS VA, You'll Not Be Forgotten !
