Never hurts to do another safety inspection on our weapons.

Maybe one day the military will consider training people to handle pistols properly.
But probably not.
That costs too much and takes too much time that is needed for more important training like POSH or How To Balance Your Checkbook.

MSG Thomas Currie - As an EX 60 gunner if you are reaching for your pistol you are up a certain creek without a paddle. Personally think it was a mistake moving on from the m1911. They just needed to invest in some rebuilding and restocking some new ones. I look at it as the Ma Deuce of pistols. If I am going to be up that creek I'd rather have the M911 than the Beretta or the Sig.

PFC Lisa McDonald - I absolutely agree -- although I have to wonder just who I am agreeing with.

BTW, I've been a "60 gunner" with both the M60's that were in the US Army inventory.

I would hope you'd see you are agreeing with a verified Veteran!

I remember having M9s so worn out that you could lock them in a vise and shoot 4" groups at 5'!

I actually qualified with a S&W .38. It was in rough shape, well used.
