His pastor apparently is a US Marshal on the fugitive task force. He had no place to hide.

Charlie Kirk's assassination was a hard loss for America. I'm sure he's built an organization that can continue to build his legacy and keep to his vision.
I also feel a profound sense of grief for the assassin's family. I cannot imagine what they are feeling right now.

MAJ Byron Oyler - If convicted, I'm fairly sure the assassin will get the death penalty. At least that is what Gov. Cox said the state of Utah will pursue. (I'm not sure that a governor in Utah can demand that a prosecutor seek the death penalty.) The governor said that before the assassin was turned in, so Matt Robinson probably knew that was a possibility. I admire Matt Robinson for doing the right thing.
