I'm not sure that some of those should be called "inventions" -- some clearly are, but others (such as the Dodecahedron) seem to be more "curiosities" rather than inventions.

I had seen and read about the Chinese seismograph when I was in high school. Pretty cool. Greek fire is probably best left to history, but I'm sure we know how to make it. The rest are just neat little gizmos.
