Serbian-American Nikolai Tesla was a futuristic-minded Inventor in the early 1900s. Upon his death in New York in 1943, the US Government’s Office of Alien Property seized 80 trunks of Tesla’s invention artifacts and tasked MIT professor John G. Trump (uncle to President Donald Trump) with evaluating them to determine whether they contained “any ideas of significant value.”

PO1 H Gene Lawrence There has not been much about Tesla's research available. The article seems to clarify why. Hmm. . .
All I recall reading about it when trying to learn more was that he destroyed his own research, because he was afraid people would get a hold of it and use it to do harm. I did not ever fully buy into that, although it seemed to fit what is known of Tesla's character.
