IMO, the more force used against people, the more violent the reaction. The American way. We just do not like seeing squads of masked, uniformed, armed, individuals swarming our streets.

The biggest problem is those on the left spreading the garbage that ICE are not real law enforcement and that ICE cannot detain US citizens. Renee Good clearly believed this and it contributed to her death. The Mayor of Minneapolis is spreading much of the same incorrect information and is significantly contributing to the violence in his city.
