Never had Junket, Dad retired from the navy in 61, and I think we always had Navy food, most meals. Dad was a cook in the navy, SOS, was the best, when I saw SOS in the army, it was just like home.
Sitting at the table with no socializing, finishing your meal, and getting up to have some room for others to eat, was just like home.

SGT Mary G.
LTC Trent Klug - We had SOS at home once in a while when I was growing up. I liked it. While stationed at Fort Hood, I would buy it at the cafe once in a while on weekends. Never knew the mess hall to serve it.

We routinely bake chocolate mayonnaise cakes for special occasions. My kids love it, as do I and my wife.
