Maj Robert Thornton - I've been up in many Military aircraft but never had an inflight problem nor did the aircraft, I'd say that was pretty good. Now comfort may be another issue, they aren't all built for luxury.

SMSgt Lawrence McCarter - I was on a C-141 at Fort Bragg. We had a full load ready to jump. The plane started taxi to the run way when the back door opened, No alarm or any warning, the flight crew ran from the crew cabin and climbed over everyone and got off the plane. Then we saw the fire trucks pulling up, that is when the full load of paratroopers exited the plane double time and ditched our equipment as we were running. Turns out the cockpit was on fire.
