It's all fun and games until Americans get banned from France, Mexico, UK, Dubai, Spain, etc. Where will we vacation when the world joins forces against us? A ban works more than 1 way. Who are these leaders to tell us where the hell we can and can't go? Man didn't create land.
The Muslim ban doesn't feel right. When a white kid shoots up a school, who gets banned? When a white man shoots up a movie theater, who gets banned? When a white man shoots up a black church, who gets banned? When black gang members kill each other, who gets banned?
We are our own biggest terrorists, and how people are feeling these days, I wouldn't he surprised if the next massive attack came from the inside. But then again, so did the last one...rp

I think the strength of our spending dollars would limit the ban. Not saying it won't happen, but American money is loved everywhere we are hated. Americans "vote" all over the world with currency- banning/limiting access will only cost affected countries more in the long run. I could run further into how we balance the world economy etc, but gets rather involved. Great post SSG Trust Palmer

Oh Hell Yeah, Mexican Fruits and Veggies that we Import thru the Winter. Discount goods in Walmart and Target and If You cut into My Avocados and Guacamole or make me pay a Tax for them, You and I are not going to get along. My Teen Years was brought up on Mexican Food!

Look into the Smoot Hawley Tarrif Act of 1930. Same principle bad foreign governments are hurting our country so lets increase tarrifs, just look at the year alone to know how bad the results were. Tarrifs are the reason our country went from the stock market crash into the Great Depression. Free trade even lopsided free trade benefits our country economically. This is a horrible idea.

SSG Trust Palmer - He is allowed to hurt so many people for one reason and one important overlooked fact. The reason is because our executive branch has become far too powerful. Congress should take back much of their power and authority to prevent presidents from being able to do so much without the consent of the governed. The important overlooked fact is that our viewpoints are inherently biased, we want a president who represents our views and are intolerant of any other points of view. Reinstating the 10th Amendment, learning how to deal with other's that disagree with us and using congress as written in the constitution is the only way to fix our problem.
