A French Soldier's View of US Soldiers in Afghanistan - In Military

I slightly disagree, I think the greatest Generation on whole was my Grandparents Generation. I would agree we have some of the best fighting men and women now but again those that have come before us paved the way. It discusses the rules of engagement that America lives by, In the Movie Patton it was said 'America loves to fight and fights to win" This has been true from day one. We are a nation that aggressively conquered what is now America. From Hostile land, People and former Governments we have always had to fight for survival. We learned early on Attack Attack Attack, don't hold don't regroup just keep attacking.

If you can, run, if you cant run, then walk, if you cant walk then crawl and if you cant crawl we will carry you. Because WE are Americans and we never surrender or give up.

Capt Seid Waddell I have said a number of times that I believe this generation of young men and women are the best of the best. And they are all volunteers.
