I am not calling Mr Trump an anti-Semite, but a man concerned about his people, being very polite and not accusatory, was shut down by POTUS.

Saw this guy interviewed last night, he wasn't offended or insulted and actually said the Pres had been supportive of the Jewish community. So in essence move along nothing to see here, yet another non-story.

As it stands, his question was never answered. He was asking about the recent high number of threats the Jewish community has been receiving. This question was not answered, because POTUS assumed he was being asked whether or not he was an anti-Semite. That is the story.

A1C Clay Slater - Roger, I watched both the news conference and the later interview. The story is that there is no story, and yes it would have been nice to answer the guys question. The President isn't anti Semitic and the reporter didn't get his feelings hurt. Personally I think folks would get better answers if they would just ask a straight damn question minus a five paragraph op order as intro.

The only problem I see here is that the reporter's question wasn't answered. The reporter wasn't asking POTUS if he was anti-Semite or a racist but what is being done about the high rise of telephone terrorism that the Jewish community has experienced and is experiencing in the last few weeks .

When you're being accused daily of being a racist and a preamble such as this occurs while unfortunate it is understandable that the President would perceive it as an attack and shut down before it goes any farther. A1C Clay Slater -
