I read that article but I wish there was one closer. It’s not just horseback riding which I enjoy but all the other things involved in care of a horse. I found peace at a program for veterans south of me that no longer exists, This is Sierra. When I rode her, she was my legs, ears and eyes so I could relax and enjoy the ride. sitting in that saddle as we rode along brought my anxiety level down. I rode with other female veterans.
