A whIle back I recall a question about what non General had the greatest influence over the outcome of a single battle. For your consideration, Lt Zvika Greengold, IDF, arguably the most badass tanker in history.

I like watching the History Channel's greatest tank battles of the Six-Day War or the 1973 Yom Kippur War to see how excellent is really Gunnar's work with long-range country against an overwhelming force of Syrian tanks.

Interesting that the link leads to the video game Amoured Warfare. I'm a World of Tanks guy myself. The Game forums post lots of good info about Tank History. Of course there are lots of German Aces. but the Soviets had Great Tankers as Well. The US was always a bit less dependent on having Armor alone carry the weight of an attack, but we had Layfayette Pool.
