Every time I see a comment about Republicans being racists and bigots, I almost always dismiss it since 99% of those allegations are made by liberals who oversimplify issues, view the issues soley through the lens of race, and they use "racist" and "bigot" to shut down dialogue. They believe that by somehow attaching such a label, it negates the legitimacy of an argument. If you think there isn't a problem at the border or you ignore that 36.6% of Muslims in the Middle East feel that 9/11 was partially justified (Gallop Center for Muslim Studies) and you don't see radical Wahabbism within Islam as a problem, then you just have your head buried in the sand.
I'm NOT a fan of Trump by any stretch of the imagination, and I would have preferred just about any other nominee, but I just want to point out how this type of article is from the same caliber of people who compare everyone they don't like to Hitler. I started off with the first mention of "muslims celebrating 9/11 in jew jersey police reports". Turns out the first result on Google has an account of events by police offices. In the article, it says that "web and media searches turned up no evidence". Clearly the author doesn't like doing his homework. He also then takes a quote out of context to provide his own conclusions. Marshall then actually makes a Hitler comparison. If this man is indeed a historian, he would note the asinine assessment in comparing Republicans to National Socialism, which has more in common in policy with the Democrat party, but NEITHER party endorses any sort of eugenics or armed wing of their party. It's truly a foolish comparison written in a very unintelligent manner. Keep in mind that the internet is like a megaphone for the unintelligent, and I'd avoid anything written by this author in the future.

MAJ James Woods
Concur with your argument when it comes to broad generalization arguments; i.e. "Republicans are racists and bigots" or "Democrats are socialists that are lazy and want handouts". Arguments should be specific and focused if to remain legitimate; thus don't attack the group but attack the comments made by individuals that not necessarily represent the whole group. Is there a border security problem? Yep. Should anyone criticize and challenge the "build a wall" solution? Also yeah. Are Republicans being compared to National Socialism? No. Is the argument comparing how Trump conducts himself at his rallies and during interviews with his "incendiary" or fear-mongering language to the way Hitler did during his rise to power? Yes. So again I concur with you on the distaste of oversimplifying issues and generalizing/stereotyping groups for the actions of a few.

I find it interesting that not a single reply from the RW posters even addresses the lie about the moment of silence and Trump's claim that the protests were in response to and in support of the Dallas shooter. It's just as the article states. Trump gets a complete pass on the dangerous lies he tells. Will none even admit that telling lies like that harms the country by building rather than reducing hatred and misunderstanding? No?

And Hillary's Lies, and Bernie's lies, and Obamas Lies... Its a double standard you have there. Hillary has cost many people their lives she lied on national TV, lied to Congress, Lied to the FBI, Lied to the family members of the people she left to die... I don't see you up in arms about that. If Obama is speaking he is lying, and Sanders is a Socialist nutter.
But lets go back to Trump, here you go "Former New York Police Department Commissioner Bernard Kerik has vindicated Trump in his claims, noting that there were many post-9/11 celebrations by NYC-area Muslims."
Then we have this Info War link http://www.infowars.com/i-live-in-jersey-and-trump-is-right-muslims-did-celebrate-on-911-in-nj-we-saw-it/
Oh and please don't forget to check out this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5BtQgTGOI4
I will give you Trumps hyperbole on the Moment of Silence comment though I think it is only a matter of time till someone calls for it. Obama has spent 7.5 Years in sighting racial issues, his comments at the memorial for the slain Officers was offensive at best. They were murdered by a racist. Trump has not cost anyone their lives as of now. He has done a better job running legitimate business than the other three have. I will admit the other three are much better at spending other peoples money and selling out America for personal agendas and profits.
On a personal note I wanted Rubio to win, but Trump wont be all bad at least he is interesting in obeying the law.
