Obviously this Green Beret doesn't have any idea what he's talking about when it comes to PTSD. I wish it as easy to be rid of it as he says there is. He may not realize he has it until much later in life, like myself. One of my best friends and a pilot I gunned for, in Vietnam, never talked about it. He said he's ok. Nothing from over there bothers him. He was 77, had just retired from his business, and two years ago he shot himself in the head, and died. This could happen to anyone with PTSD, no matter your age.

Kennedy is an overbearing louse. Some folks with PTSD are fighting every day to realize happier days.

Well one of the few things I've never been accused of, was being a pussy. Didn't know I had PTSD or TBI, just thought everyone else was dicked up.
Even after years of work I am not, nor will ever be, the old me, but have learned to be the best version of me that can be. Thankfully friends, soldiers and family were willing to put up with me while we sorted it out. It takes longer to do things then it used to and I've had to get used to the fact that being " good at" verses "best at" my job, shooting, or anything isn't a bad thing.
Hope Tim never wakes up one morning to find that he's just "good at" being an MMA fighter. Because being a pussy after being an SF Soldier and fighter may be rough.

SGT (Join to see) - Trying to point out that folks keep saying people need to go get help for PTSD but many who have PTSD don't recognize the fact that they have it. So in some instances its not about being afraid to say they have a problem but recognizing the problem in the first place. The other thing was that it isn't about being a pussy because even rough folks can be affected.
