I lost brothers in Iraq, and brothers since we came home. Neither is easy to deal with. We always ask "What could I have done to prevent this?" We keep in contact the best we can, look for any warning signs, help each other through hard times, and fight our own demons at the same time. Some win, some lose, some live with them, some self medicate, some use "Big pharma" to deal. It's a hard battle. Don't give in. Your brothers would not want that, nor would your friends or family. We've never met, yet we are Infantry Brothers. Don't let pride get in the way. Reach out to someone you truly trust. I wish you the best brother.

Always broken hearted when a friend and brother in arms loses the struggle of life. We deal with death every day. The number of living comrades I have grows shorter every day. all the more reason Memorial Day means so much to me.
