I wish this transgender sailor success and have no objections to his service. Where I have a difficulty is the taxpayer paying the freight for the gender transformation. I understand this sailor was already in the system ... and there are undoubtedly others already serving. Once they have been accommodated, should transgenders continue to be allowed to serve, it is my hope and belief that that the transformation occurs before enlistment ... or that the service member takes a break in service to accomplish the transformation. It should not be done on the military's time or the taxpayer's dime.

Im so glad that our cash strapped military is paying for frankenstein like surgeries under the guise of health.
I also thing the hypocrisy of the hundreds of males booted out for taking supraphysiological doses of testosterone pursuing a goal of better strength and stamina things which would benefit combat, but rewards those "transgendered .. Who take supraphysiological doses of testosterone to hormonally mutilate their body into something their dna is 100% against..
So its basically like this...
Male taking synthetic testosterone to enhance his already present masculine genetic fearures= jail.

Female taking synthetic testosterone to compkeyely circumvent their genetic make up in pursuit to pretend to be a different sex= celebrated..
