Work by Wilson and the thousands of other troops in Afghanistan during the withdrawal is credited with saving as many as 124,000 evacuees fleeing the Taliban takeover. That figure includes more than 73,000 civilians and 6,000 U.S. citizens, said Marine Gen. Kenneth McKenzie Jr., then-commander of CENTCOM.

Could have and should have been so many more inc. ALL of the Americans who wanted to leave ahead of time. This was THE BIGGEST DISGRACE in our Nations history.

As have I. This weekend I will be hiking 13 miles for the 13 lost Marines, Soldiers, and Sailors in the final days of our retreat. This didn't have to happen.

It not only didn't have to happen, it never should have been allowed to happen! When one considers the trumped up impeachment charges against the previous prez, one wonders how long it'll be before the current White House occupant is forced to face charges for the Schmidt he's been perpetrating.
