This first came to light during the Obama administration and that administration tied our hands. That administration even tried to kick a special forces soldier out of the Army for beat an Afghan officer for raping a boy.

I have searched and cannot find a thing having anything to do with the Obama administration in this. From all the accounts, the issue stayed entirely in the hands of the Army. Reports say soldiers say their commanders told them to ignore it. Commanders say they didn't. When Marland (?) was charged (by the Army), it was DoD (Obama admin) and Congress who told the Army they couldn't kick him out. So how did the administration tie our hands?

Who are we to say that cultural norms in another area are wrong? Don't get me wrong, I am in no way defending Pedophilia, I am simply asking when did the USA become the moral compass for the rest of the world? Most of the Arab world practices bigamy for instance while the USA has chosen to go with monogamy, what gives us the right to condemn their practices and beliefs?
