The Taliban captured Afghanistan's capital Kabul on Sunday, 20 years after they were ousted from power. So what does it look and feel like the day after its fall?
The Taliban are everywhere, at the checkpoints which used to be official police or army barricades.
There is not much panic in the city today, as there was yesterday. The Taliban are controlling traffic, they are searching cars, and they are especially searching those vehicles which used to belong to police and the army, all of which they have confiscated.
If there are Taliban fighters themselves driving those vehicles now, they are stopped at checkpoints, too. They told us that they checked these vehicles to make sure they were not looters and thieves disguised as Taliban.

I see it this way, we are winners. We got bin laden and with the twenty years there we made an impact on the people of Afghanistan, it allowed their people to see another option that they can choose.
How anyone can call it a Taliban victory is amazing to me. Everything they got was left to them.
We even impacted the Taliban, they did not come in with all guns blazing, they know they have to watch their step.
We didn't lose a damn battle with them, they know it.
The biggest winners are the Afghan people

Tell that to all of us vets whom 20 yrs ago lost our buddies in action , do to the slaying of the Taliban . Many vets are still messed up today. America is in trouble and not only with Taliban but China . Enemies of America see that we have fallen with a weak ass administration. Inside job and so on. Better protect our own here in America because blood will spill. Our own family and friends will join together because that is all we have right now to protect our own. Stay Alert Stay Alive.

PFC Jennifer Grumbles I was referring to the military, name one battle that we lost while there. Yes, we lost friends and family members. You can't expect to get into a fire fight and have zero losses. We still have our memories of the ones lost while over there. There is no way to ease your pain of the losses of your friends nor will I try to persuade you of any pipe dream. Please use the fact that you made it out to do something that would make your friends proud of you, then the loss of your friends would show something good came out of this whole mess

SFC Kenneth Hunnell The military are heroes, no doubt about and we love them all, both living and deceased, but this is the end of the fight and in the last round if one fighter knocks out the other, regardless of how great he did during the match, he gets knocked out and loses the fight. Biden, unfortunately, delivered a fatal knock out blow to our Country. Military, stand proud for you have prevailed against all odds but were overshadowed by the stupidity and ignorance of your Commander and Chief.
