African-American mom outraged to find ‘white privilege’ worksheet in second grader’s bag

Are white people better than others? Of course not. Do they enjoy special advantages, a "white privilege"? Well, yes, of course. It evinces itself in small things, but they add up. I've never been pulled over for DWW (Driving While White) while I've known good people who were pulled over for no reason other than DWB. Then again, I've enjoyed certain "privileges" over other people for other reasons. I have certain "privileges" over women. The world is my toilet. Women need a place to squat. Also, I'm of average height. The world is designed for me. Everything is at eye level. Cars are designed around my body type. Oh, and although I'm built like someone 6'4" from the waist up, I have very short legs (a real nuisance while marching or running in formation), but a real boon when riding on passenger jet airliners. Yes, I am a very privileged guy. Are you jealous? However, before you get all angry with me, please keep in mind that I didn't do anything to merit any of my privileges. They just happened to me, just as yours happened to you. The injustices that many, especially minorities have labored under, were spawned long before I was born. And, inasmuch as my fore bearers arrived in America relatively recently and very poor, they can't be blamed either. Furthermore, I have fought against the bigotry and prejudices that have caused these things to continue. (Except for that thing about women squatting. I can't do anything about that)
