It is very concerning when a Recruit is in basic training and they have a sudden death. I believe that while they are preparing to defend our country it would be the last place that such occurrence would happen. Unfortunately it does and will, they definitely need to get to the root and stop and prevent from future/further occurrences from happening. God Bless America and especially the ones holding down the fort.

Any death during training sucks.

While I don't remember what the protocol was I do remember some sort of sickle cell treatment for recruits at MCRD SD
