After 65 years of 'armistice,' it's about time to end the Korean War

This is stupid. When the Armistice is ended, nKorea will demand that US leaves. Then North will travel south when they desire. If we end the Armistice, we will lose a major barraging chip. We end it, we will have no more UN Cmd or USFK that can demand changed. I do not know the authors, but I do doubt their sincerity to help South Korea. I think they do not want US to be there to support South Korea. Let's wait until we can get true peace.

By the way, they were talking yesterday about President Carter putting down judge Cavanaugh. President Carter was seriously thinking of pulling all US troops out of South Korea back in 1977 and if it wasn't for Major General John K.Singlaub going public and losing his career over it, who knows if that uproar not happening would have allowed President Carter to be stupid and pulled US troops out.

Well, Jim, yours is surely one possibility. But I doubt it's a probability. The gestures and advancements thus far have proven to be extraordinary in light of the last sixty-some years. A world being rent apart could do with one less aggravation, I believe.
