After Pittsburgh Synagogue Shooting, Jewish Leaders Speak Out Against Divisiveness

Since Saturday's mass shooting at a synagogue in Pittsburgh, Jewish leaders have been speaking out about the divisiveness they say is contributing to hate crimes around the country.

Here & Now's Robin Young speaks with Jack Rosen (@JackRosenNYC), president of the American Jewish Congress.

Rosen said in a statement Sunday that the political right "must reconcile their divisive rhetoric and policies with the pluralistic ideal we have inherited from our nation’s founders."

"Everywhere unchecked racial and religious intolerance has spilled into its inescapable outcome: violence," he said.
